Francesca DiPisa

What exactly is being a Communication and Media Arts graduate?

It means creating for it all.

Being in my major allowed me to have the flexibility to learn about all aspects of media. From film and television production to communications studies and public relations, I genuinely got a feel for everything that this industry has to offer. The projects I have undertaken through coursework and leadership positions gave me the insight into wanting a career that involves creative development, public relations work, and social media marketing.

Social Media Content Creations

I have been able to explore my interest in content creation by designing different kinds of posts for all social media platforms on Canva. Whether it be promoting an event, highlighting a Montclair State alumn, or explaining what a company does through an infographic, I have learned that visual storytelling has to be included in everyone's feed today.
